Dudleya

Dudleya

The Dudleya genus is comprised of around 40 species native to southern USA and Mexico, forming succulent rosettes and developing thick stems with age. They are winter growers and flower in spring.

CULTIVATION TIPS
Commonly known as “live-forever” plants, Dudleyas have been known to live as long as 50 to 100 years. In their native California they are now considered rare, threatened or endangered, depending on the species. Dudleya are winter growers and it is important to withhold water during their summer dormancy. Those with white farinose leaves should not be watered from above. Use a cactus mix to provide sharp drainage. Protect from strong summer sun. Frost sensitive.
