Jatropha multifida, commonly known as the Coral Plant, is a captivating tropical shrub that adds an exotic touch to gardens and indoor spaces.
The Coral Plant gets its name from its striking coral-like appearance. It boasts bright red and orange tubular flowers that grow in clusters. The leaves are lanceolate (long and narrow) with a dark green color and a pale green underside. The flowers are followed by large, spiny seed capsules containing the plant's seeds.
This evergreen shrub can grow up to 1.5 meters high and up to 2 meters wide. The plant for sale is in a 130mm pot.
Coral Plants thrive in areas with 5-6 hours of direct sunlight daily. Indoors, provide dappled light.
Well-drained soil rich in organic matter is ideal.
